So whats it like to ride a crazy inclined twisty track when mother nature decides to open the heavens... Yeah i think you can imagine what happens next!

I had enough respect for the pros for turning out epic times on a demanding circuit like this but man... when the heavens open mid race and it goes to hell... wow, these guys can ride! Problem is, talent alone is not enough to cope when things go sideways!
Jeffrey Herlings found out the hard way when applying a little to much front brake on a tricky downhill section. This guys is seriously fast so if he stacked it like this... i dread to think what mess i would be in!
Romain Febvre who was leading at the time proved even the leaders make critical mistakes by running straight into the back of someone. When you have traction on a slippy hill there is no where to go...
Hunter Lawrence This guy can ride! wow! He had a few issues in the mud, which is completely understandable but rode strong to grab some great finishes. i wont spoil the races which i am posting soon but man if he had managed to keep it upright.. wow.
Jorge Prado i can relate with! As a man of short stature myself i know how hard these conditions are! Taller guys really do have the advantage when mud is like this, they can control the bike more and have a better center of gravity. Check out how well he was riding though intill it conditions got the better of him.

To be honest most mega mud crashes are ok as its slower and softer... hardpack is where its nasty :/
