School For SDG4 was visited by Phoenix School
Hello all,
You might know that Phoenix School was planning to visit @SchoolForSDG4 during their visit to Sylhet to establish a school for children and young people with autism. On 13th February, Mr Stewart Harris ( Phoenix Primary & Secondary Executive Head ) and Veronica Armson ( Associate Headteacher of Phoenix School) visited our school. During their visit, they also noticed our photo gallery and read wish letter from @girlbeforemirror and @tecnosgirl. I also shared about @steemit and steem blockchain and I think they are very curious to know how social media works. Before their visit to the school, I had around 30 minutes close interview with them on 11th February and I talked about blockchain technology, @fundition , blogging and fundraising.
It is the second time Veronica visited our school. She first visited our school in February 2017. Here is the post about her first visit Click here
They were so funny and friendly to make our kids happy. They played with the kids and stayed at school for around an hour to give their best.
The kids were so happy to meet them and welcomed them with flowers. Veronica asked me if we need anything special before she comes to Bangladesh. I thought the chocolates will be great for the kids. And thus she brought lots of chocolates for the kids and toys.
I hope the day will return again and again. Phoenix school is going to open a school in our city for children and young people with autism. I am glad that I could help them some way in 2017 and as they are much busy to set up the school and interview with civil societies and govt. , I had little chance to work with them this time. Also, Phoenix school will open the school with the partnership with Apasan International which is a UK based charity organization working with children with special needs. I am glad to meet them. I will share our school bags allocation program soon with you.
