nTOPAZ LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST - WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Hello fellow Photographers!

So here we go finally with announcement of the winners for nTOPAZ landscape Photography contest. Actually the first contest held by me as nTOPAZ curator. And firstly big thanks goes for nTOPAZ for quite an efforts of supporting ART at steemit platform.
Overall we have got over 150 entries!!! Just stunning. However, some entries appeared to be plagiarized or posted with some fake accounts. Though nTOPAZ cleaners are doing good job for spotting such an entries and not allow them to farm the rewards

Since the total number of photos entered still very high, got quite a hard task to chose best of the best, so had to follow certain criteria…

1. Originality: As mentioned above, some fake accounts were eliminated from judging. Let’s be fair, hope that we have managed to clean as much as possible
2. Composition: Composition is very important in landscape photography. Sometimes you can bring very interesting photo from overall simple landscape just improving the composition with interesting and dominating foreground, either unusual cloud formations or colors as background.
3. Techniques, degree of difficulty: Just a snapshot could be good enough by itself. But what if to employ some long exposure or unusual lighting techniques? Definitely the result will stand out from the general gallery of images provided. Yes, it is much more difficult, but often the result does worth
4. Creativity: This is a kind f combination of composition skills and some unusual techniques and filters which can be used in landscape photography. Some more interesting location or unusual decisions…
5. Overall impression: And we are coming to final overall impressions of the image, which combines all previously described points. Additionally it can be hit also by post production and color grading in various photography editing software.

This image was just one of the strongest candidate for a winner’s title at first sight. Amazing foreground with leading lines. A lot of dynamical drama in the sea and skies. Great color grading and a bit of long exposure. Well deserved!!!

Amazing diagonal composition and incredible cold and foggy atmosphere of Canadian forest. Very deep feeling and interesting color grading. Congrats!

This is just an insane example of unusual landscape. Starting from the general composition and colors and ending with night skies at background. Simply stunning

The colors here made the trick. But not to forget pretty simple but winning composition with a mountain in the center. Many dimension and animals at foreground add additional point of interest.

Amazing vie on Rio from the top. Great composition and a lot of details to look into. Clouds just outstanding too

A lot of drama and dynamics in this shot. True power of the Nature. Like this water mist making atmosphere very interesting when you can almost feel the moisture in it

Perfect winter landscape on a golden hour sunset. Overall could be very general one, but this golden reflection of the water on ice does the trick.. to make this shot quite unusual

Perfect multidimensional view from the top. Great perspective and lot of details. Clouds give additional touch to the variety of tonalities here. Almost like music

Wide panorama on sunset. At first sight pretty simple but with many interesting details and sun flare from the right. Good combination of landscape lines and deep some feeling of the air
