How-To & Recipe: Wraps, fold or roll? - Wraps, falten oder rollen ?😀 (EN/DE)

Did you know that, the origin of the wraps lies in the Texican-Mexican cuisine, which is also the reason why mostly tortillas are used as a shell.

In the 90s, the wraps have "arrived" in Europe and are often served as fast food or finger food.

For the filling, there are no given ingredients or recipes, this may consist of salad, vegetables and or meat with a delicious sauce.

But actually, it does not matter, the main thing is that they taste ;-)

Die Herkunft des Wraps liegt übrigens in der Texikanisch-Mexikanischen-Küche, dass ist auch der Grund warum als Hülle meistens Tortilla-Wraps zur Verwendung kommen.

In den 90er Jahren sind die Wraps auch in Europa "angekommen" und werden häufig als Fastfood bzw. Fingerfood serviert.

Für die Füllung gibt es keine vorgegebenen Zutaten oder Rezepte, diese kann aus Salat, Gemüse und oder Fleisch mit einer leckeren Sauce, bestehen.

Eigentlich ist es aber ganz egal, die Hauptsache ist doch, dass er schmeckt ;-)

Today I will not only give you a little tasty guide, but also show how it is folded in 3 easy steps.

I use the following ingredients:

-Fried steak meat
-wheat tortillas
-Salad
-cucumbers
-tomatoes
-red onions
-and of course a hot sauce

By the way, chicken meat is just as good. Normally I would also use jalapeños, but I have customer appointments tomorrow ;-)

Heute werde ich euch nicht nur eine kleine schmackhafte Anleitung geben, sondern auch zeigen, wie er in 3 einfachen Schritten gefaltet wird.

Ich verwende dafür folgende Zutaten:

-gebratenes Steakfleisch
-Weizen Tortillas
-Salat
-Gurken
-Tomaten
-Rote Zwiebeln
-und natürlich eine scharfe Sauce

Übrigens geht es mit Hähnchenfleisch genauso gut. Normalerweise würde ich auch noch Jalapeños reinpacken, habe aber morgen Kundentermine ;-)

First cut all ingredients and roast your meat.

Schritt 1)
Schneidet zuerst alle Zutaten und bratet euer Fleisch an.

Now wrap your wrap with the ingredients, add your favorite sauce and fold it as in the next 3 pictures .... First from the bottom, then from the right and finally from the left.

Belegt nun euren Wrap mit den Zutaten, fügt eurer Lieblingssauce hinzu und faltet dann diesen wie in den nächsten 3 Bildern.... erst von unten, dann von rechts und zum Schluss von links.

Finally, you should wrap your homemade wrap in aluminum foil. So it keeps the ingredients better together and the sauce does not drip down.

Was it simple, right? :-)

Schritt 3)
Zuletzt solltet ihr noch euren selbstgemachten Wrap in Alu Folie wickeln. So hält er besser zusammen und die Sauce tropft nicht runter.
