Who controls all the money in the world?

in #money7 years ago

Did you know that only 3% of the money out there is "real", while the rest is digitally up there floating around? Think about what an impact there would be if suddenly everybody tried cashing out of BTC/ETH/LTC/etc. Hundreds of billions of dollars would create ripple waves felt all across the globe! Now I know that's a crazy example to think of, but I just want you to realize the absurdity of it all. What is FIAT currency? And my favorite question of them all, how many average people do you think would even begin to have a clue about all this stuff?

Recently I fell upon this video in my subscriber feed, and I absolutely had to share it!

I'm a big fan of ColdFusion, and I know this isn't his typical type of piece but it's fantastic to see more and more people getting involved in this. I've always been a big fan of money, and I mean truly, I love money. Most people don't. Do you know how you can easily tell? Most people immediately want to get rid of money, they want to distance themselves as far away as they can! They spend it on stupid shit, they burn it, they do whatever to just simply waste it while simultaneously digging deeper the hole they keep finding themselves in.

Most of us are quite familiar with where money comes from, what the gold standard was, how cryptocurrency is changing the game and just the usual history of it all. But if you're not, if you've stumbled upon here and are a curious little kitten.. I'd definitely encourage you to watch some of Mike Maloney's old works to get up to speed with some things:

I'm no conspiracy theorist shouting "Death to the Central Banks and Big insert industry name here!" but I do believe in educating yourself and looking back into the history books. I was always a geek, and the thing is, money certainly does a fair amount of talking. If you have the time to study it, you can prepare yourself for a better future by learning things about the past.

Those who think money is evil are simply wrong. Those who say money cannot provide happiness for you, well, they'd be onto something however most have very little experience with managing wealth and the lifestyle that it may bring. Money won't make you live a joyous life, but it can give you freedom. That's the ultimate goal everyone should go for. Money is a tool just like everything else, and if you're able to figure out how to get it to work for you, you'll have the ability to truly make a change in this world.

The rich get richer by constantly investing and diversifying their portfolios. The more money you make, the more connections you begin to create which in turn keeps the cycle growing constantly.

If I were you, an interested little servant of society, ready to play the game and win your freedom against the odds of all who dare to join.. I'd study these next few links:

Let's all acquire great wealths together, for this plenty at the top to share.. you just have to be hungry enough! Do you have a burning drive within you? Let's succeed, but let's also fail and learn from our mistakes and misadventures. The end goal is to make money while you sleep and if you haven't read the 4 Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss yet, I'd definitely check it out.

"you just have to be hungry enough!" Am so hungry to get my share

The credit card was invented in 1946? jesus Christ!

Quite interesting how far away that seems.. And they technically were using credit in stores long before!

Nice work . Resteemed.
This is why, after 40 yrs of running my own business, i store my wealth in productive timber and farm land. And i stack PM. Real money. Look into the past to see.

Thank you :) You're referring to platinum, correct? I don't have enough money yet to diversify completely, but if I had about 10x more I'd definitely get some gold and platinum. Just to keep it, just incase. You never know what could happen!

I am referring to Precious Metal . Gold and silver. But Platinum is a great buy right now. A limited supply industrial metal that is consumed everyday and never comes back like silver.

@runaway-slave I'm currently in the process of buying some land that can be used to make income and as a storage of wealth. Already stacked some PM, due to that it is one of the easiest ways of owning a commodity. If others understood what real money is and not this fiat currency that is in place. They would understand why the price of everything is going up and wages are going down. All of it is connected. Probably the best book to read on the history of this mess of the world banks would be, "The Creature from Jekyll Island" by Edward Griffin. A long read but worth it.

I have reveiwed "The Creature from Jekyll Island" . The ugly truth not taught in any government controlled public schools. Would be a good investment getting copies in the hands of young entrepreneurs.

The ugly truth isn't taught in government controlled schools due to that the public school system was created by the Rockefellers. "I want a nation of workers, not thinkers." -John D. Rockefeller.

Agreed. You may like my short article from yesterday. Thanks for your post, https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@jetblake/how-do-you-store-your-hard-earned-money-usdusdusd

Great post. Central Banks control everything. Those who believe that money is evil, simply want have any, because why would you have something, that is evil.

Exactly. Most people HATE money, they just want material things that will lose value anyways :)

@avilsd This is a subject that my Father ended up getting me involved in while I was a teenager. Too bad I barely listened then. Now after living on my own and working I now understand what he was trying to teach me. I got back into the first books that he introduced me to, "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and "The Richest Man in Babylon". After reading those two books I went on a journey of research and found out I really didn't understand money and what a useful tool it is. Then trying to share my newfound knowledge, realized how many people do not understand the monetary system.

Followed, upvoted, and resteemed. Thank you!

Thank you @nyozekii :) And I actually got a fair bit into the second book, quite enjoyed it! Still didnt get a chance to read the first one, but there's honestly so many good reads out there (too much knowledge, just want to soak it all up!)

Great post. I wish i didnt have to use banks at all.

If only cryptocurrency just replaced FIAT today, we'd all be rich ;)
