We honestly had no idea what we were in for... for some reason we thought it'd be a 10km round trip, and we were way off the mark... we did about 22 kms in 6 hours with an elevation of over 1000 meters. While we were hiking we thought it was weird that only young 'uns were on the trail, usually hikes have such a huge diversity... but after a couple of hours, we figure it out.

The payoff was amazing though.... nice work Canada!

That must have been amazing judging from the pictures! It's good to see you posting! I just re-followed you because of this weird bug that makes us unfollow some people or maybe I'm crazy and unfollowed you while I was sleeping.

Haha, it's so funny to see your comment today... because we just spent the last week in Vancouver and literally thought about you every day... every time we saw French writing or heard someone with a french accent... and now here you are! Thanks for watching the video I was on, I was very much reminded of all the fun we had in Portland. I've been on Facebook for at least 10 years, and I've never had as incredible experiences with superfun people that I've had with Steem over the past few months! So good!

Accidental hike broke out.

Got to keep a close eye on those hikes.. They just catch you by surprise!

As long as you brought enough supplies for the trip it was probably fine in the end right XD I'm kind of curious as to how the confusion happened now :D Either way it looks like an awesome accidental hike!

Haha, it was pretty amazing. I think my partner thought it was a 10km round trip, not 10kms to the lake... and then 10kms back... and it was really busy, so I ended up parking so incredibly far away, that it feel like a hike just to get from the car to the starting line... but not far enough away to hit that magical 40,000 steps.

Welcome to Canada! wow epic hike!!

Thanks dude! It's such an incredibly beautiful country, so lucky to be here!

Too cool! I love Whistler, and everything along the way.

Where abouts did you go hiking?

We hiked up to Garibaldi Lake… it was just spectacular.

What's that thing in the water that looks like a shark fin?

Lol, accidentally hiking 22km. Should have just gone to the pub with Crimmy.

Hahaha, the accidental hike was to work off the previous night's beerness from watching the AFL GF in an Irish pub. Definitely can't back up pub with more pub.

Ah, not sure if you mean the top photo or the 3rd photo... but the water was glacial, so in the first photo it was a little bushy bit, and in the third photo it's a tree stump branch thing. There were signs saying there was trout in the water, so they must be pretty freakin' tough.

It was the third one. That thing sticking out.

If you were 18 you would totally back up the pub with more pub. Urgh! Being old. It's not just about the DOMS and tendinitis.
