Hello dear friends! Welcome to my post. How are you all? I pray this message reaches you in good health, through the Mercy of the Almighty Allah. I am also well and having a good day too. Today, I am here to be a part of this fantastic event ‘power up’ hosted by the Hindwhale Community and initiated by @jyoti-thelight. This contest is about “Power up & Win Week 52.” So here we go!

The amount of steems from your wallet must be used to perform a powerup.

In my activity as a Steemit user, I have been an active member of this platform for the past eight months and have been powering up and hence increasing my Steem balance in the process. These are good habits to ensure that I am productive with nearly 100% or at least 75% of the Steem I gathered for the week. This week I ramped up 170 SP.

You must submit a thorough, screenshotted description of how you did it in order to be eligible.

I logged-in with my Steemit username to access the wallet.

I then went to the wallet section and I was able to locate the ‘Steem’ button. I hovered the pointer over it and from the options displayed at the top of the window, I clicked on ‘Power Up’.

I entered the value of 170 Steem on the power-up field of the specific amount. To make sure that everything was correct I check the quantity to ensure that the power up was done with this exact value.

After that, I clicked on the OK button when I was done entering all of the information and I was sure that all of the particulars were accurate.

I then used the Active key to move to the next step after I was done with the given task. The authentication process was simple and clear thus making this step quite easy for me.

More to that, performing these outlined steps helped me power up without any problem as revealed above.

To my mind, it is necessary to perform a power-up on the Steemit for several reasons. It strengthens self-authority and voting capabilities thus helping you to empower and encourage others. This shows your dedication to the progress of the site of which positively affects your visibility and activity in the platform when you transfer liquid Steem to Steem Power. As well, frequently power-ups make a stronger impact on the curation and author increasing the money that can be earned contributing to the attractiveness of the long-term perspectives and active presence in the community .
