About Zhongguancun International Talents Innovation Incubation hub

The Zhongguancun International Talents Innovation Incubation hub initiated by Zhongguancun the Belt and Road Industrial Promotion Association, and supported by the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, Beijing Committee of Science and Technology, and the Peoples Government of Haidian district, is on a mission to promote China’s international cooperation on innovation and entrepreneurship of advanced and applicable technologies with the World. The center is a one-stop destination for international talents seeking to do business in China. The center is headquartered in Beijing’s Zhongguancun zone, which widely seen as the silicon valley of China.

About the Startup Incubation program

The ZITIIH startup incubation program aims to select outstanding international talents and entrepreneurs regardless of nationality and support them towards becoming the pioneers and future leaders of science and technology related industries in their countries, selected applicants will get a chance to develop either their own business idea, or commercialize an already developed Chinese technology technology.

Objectives

The objectives of the startup incubation program are to;

• Identify and select high potential entrepreneurs who can become global industry champions.
• Empower the successful Applicants to successfully kick start operations of businesses in China and their home countries
• Support the development of science and technology startups by international students.
• Promote the mission of the Belt and Road Initiative and the implementation of technologies developed in China to countries along the belt and road

Eligibility

Applicants must;

• Be Under the age 40 years.
• Currently be registered International students or a graduate from a Chinese university.
• Have a viable startup/business idea.
• Currently be living in Beijing, or is willing to relocate to Beijing.
• Passionate, innovative and entrepreneurially driven.
• Have the ability to communicate in Chinese.

Preferences;

Preferences will be given to;

• Ideas, which have a direct impact on solving a key development challenge.

• Ideas, which do not negatively impact the environment.

• Outstanding Students and Graduates from highly ranked Chinese Universities.

• Startup guidance and incubation services.

• Work visa and company registration guidelines and application.

• Connection with investors.

• Liaise with potential customers and partners.

• Networking with Chinese enterprises.

• Startup Mentorship.

• Apartment rental and residence permit Application.

• Consultancy (Legal, Industry, etc).

Application procedure

• Fill in the registration form on the link provided above.

• There will be two rounds of interviews, the first round is an online interview, after which all short listed candidates will be invited to our office in Beijing to Pitch their business idea, The final selection results will then be sent via Email.
