SOLA.AI full user review
Based on what I read already, Sola could be an interesting entertainment to my present interests.
Like my excerpt says, I expected something completely different because some reviews state this new page should have some similarities with the Steemit, which I fail to recognize. I can talk only for myself but Sola has nothing in common with the Steemit and they can freely coexist without being competitive within any aspects of their service because, for the bare eye of the front end user, there are too many differences.
Take into consideration, my Introduction post there didn't turn out as I expected either.
Let's say that Sola and text formatting don't go well together.
The formatting does appear, but after being published I ended up with HTML instead.
That is one thing I had a problem with.
Another thing is that a space for the writing is extremely scarce, no matter what I had 10 cards to post I still felt like I am squeezing an elephant into a matchbox.
Posts are very nice visually, extremely eye pleasing and enjoyable to surf, but in my opinion, Sola is made for the expressions and short more euth informative or inspirational things. It is not meant to be the main writing ( or blogging ) platform.
In my opinion, it is meant to be beautiful. Which it is. Extremely.
For the art stuff, I do almost every day on the Instagram and for instance, the Mirakee, the difference is huge in the matter of the speed.
Instagram is very fast if you know how to use tags, and I know to appreciate it.
But, any app besides it just doesn't make it for me.
Sola is at the other end of the spectrum considering speed.
There are no tags or anything, but app distributes posts to the users on its own which is a great change in comparison to some apps where you have to spit blood to push your posts to the other users to see.
I posted stuff on my computer and tested it on Google Chrome and Firefox.
This is one thing I also noticed, a small glitch.
When I signup on my PC and tried to see my profile page before I posted anything - I couldn't see it.
After I published my first post, a page appeared.
This is how it looks like now, before publishing the first post I could see only a blank screen.
Sola shares some similarities to the Twitter.
Once published a post can't be edited.
So, the only options are to keep it as it is or delete it.
A card statistic in a mobile application ( testing on Android) is everything I ever wanted.
It is absolutely fabulous to see where from the visits are coming and how much people are involved, in the near real-time without a map freezing or lagging.
This is a full view.
A PC browser version of a page has none while mobile has a night theme, in case that you have a dark mode preference like I do.
Settings are also a little bit different in Browser and in mobile.
Username and password change is possible in the browser, while I didn't see any option for that in mobile, but there were change password and email options instead.
Delete account can be done only form the mobile device.
An account on the creation has to be confirmed with a mobile phone number.
These are only some random things I personally noticed while using the Sola. There are many more things that can be found in their FAQ for example how to join the channel or what features will be added in the future.
I will not talk about the earning aspect or even a potential because all this is very new as they are currently starting. Plus, it depends on how they will develop in the future.
My interest is currently based on what I can see.
For an average user is the most important thing to know that any action made on Sola will take some so-called attention points away, and any action received ( including views) will add up to that sum. Than the earned SOLs can be withdrawn into the Ethereum Wallet.
Take care how you scroll using mobile app, because swiping up as well uses coins, so unless you want your attention points drained in a moment don'tr forget to swipe in a right direction.
I will post again when I draw more conclusions and probably soon after their token sale is done, in approximately four days from now.
