The Upcoming Update !
So 2 days ago @steemitblog posted this Post where they gave a detailed Blueprint of what is to come here on Steemit.
The post focused on various issues which many people were having such as Double Voting Exploits and Downvoted abuse. That being said they also included Discounted Account Creation, Expiration of Market Orders and many more.
But to be honest I do not agree with all of those. I agree with most of their updates except for one. They are going to reduce the Delay period between each comment from 20 seconds to 3 seconds which I feel would not be good. There are still a lot of Spammers who continuously spam in the comments section. This will allow them to do such things more and more.
The bottom line is this there is a lot of Updates coming and I feel almost most of them are for the Betterment of Steemit.
I agree with you about the twenty second delay @arunava. I think it is a good thing and was surprised that it was going to be removed.
I have noticed a lot of people are using the fast-reply app to get around it already and the quality of their comments have gone down as a result because they can post comments more quickly one after another. 😢
I have some frequent visitors who comment the second I click to Post. Plus the Comment is totally unrelated to any Post I make.
I did have a bit of problem when I want to Comment many People on a Go but it's a slight disadvantage I am willing to take. I hope they keep the delay at 20 Seconds.
I find the same when I'm replying to a lot of comments @aruava but i just make the comment and leave the browser open then go back and make the actual post in between other things.
It works but it does take more time but I'd rather that than get more spam. i mute frequently rubbish commenters but that all takes time too. 😁
