Lavenders Blue Dilly Dilly

I took this picture at Jersey Lavender which is a working farm on the Channel Island of Jersey.

It is open to visitors, during the harvest season (June to mid-August) and I went to visit before the lavender crop was cut so the fields were beautiful.

Once cut it is processed and the oil is extracted and used to make a number of products including Eau de Toilette, Cologne, hand cream, shower gel, bath foam, soap, essential oil, lavender bags and on and on. 😊

If you ever find yourself in Jersey it's well worth a visit!
