As i read this story, i kept on thinking about the over 800 thousand people that have become IDPs as a result of the ongoing crisis in country. I think about how life has become hard for me and hundreds of thousands of people as well as the thousands of people who have loss their lives as a result of the crisis. Over 200 villages have been burned in my region and it pains me to read thesame story in another country that is suffering just like mine. Seriously, i hardly ever talk about the problem and challenges the people of my region and me are facing coz the government is monitoring almost everyone and they will execute you and your family if you spend time on the social media talking about what is happening. No matter how difficult it is for me and my people, i am willing to support these other IDPs as soon as you launch the project.
Let me give you a horror tip of the happenings these weeks around me;
4 months old baby shot to dead, Teacher beheaded and the head put in a major junction in town, unarmed civilian shot to dead. This is just a pinch of what is happening. Anyway, like these people, we are trapped in thesame situation and i pray and act for peace every day.
We have very serious issues here too of censorship and there is much I can't ever show or say. But FEELING such gratitude for you and your positivity about the environment while you live with such conflict and endure such oppression. I honour you in the way you act and respond for peace. The violence and hatred will eventually be overcome by peace and positivity. Much love to you. x

It's incredible what's going on that we don't know about, in this age of technology and instant communication. Sometimes things are purposely kept quiet, from within the countries. Take Venezuela and Nicaragua. We all know about Venezuela, because the people there can communicate with the outside world and freely tell us what is going on. Nicaragua has little said about it, because the people daren't risk communication with the outside world. I don't believe I'd have even heard of the Karen people if not for your posts.

There is so much happening out in the world which we are unaware of. Civil war is definitely a curse to humanity bringing so much disaster. Syria one big example and so many other countries. Thanx for sharing the information about the Karen people. I will surely like to do my bit when you are ready to collect the funds. You are doing an amazing work @artemislives.
