When you named your child, Princess for example, what did you have in mind? Did you name her as such because she's your princess in the family? Or do you somehow envision her to act in a princess-like manner?

Naming a child can be as random or as complicated- depending on how a family sees it. There are some who, from as when they are still single, already have names of their would be child. While for some, it is a family affair where every member has a say.

For my children, it was I who had more influence mainly because they will already carry their father's surname so let me at least decide on the first name. Fair enough?! Haha.

The first born has the names of his grandfathers and so has initials R and G. Then when we had our second child I thought of just naming her after these initials too.

Expecting a girl, I wanted to give her a name which denotes a strong personality. Why not Queen - she shall be the queen of the household thus, the first name RHEIGN. The name should also be derived from the bible and I was left with the second initial, "G". I thought about Gabriel, an archangel of God whom we know to appear to Mary to announce the coming of Christ. I just made it GABRIELLE to make it feminine.

The Meaning

Gabriel means "man of God".
