[철학 단상] on translation of Deleuze & Guattari, What is philosophy?
The "becoming"s in line 7 & 10, page 173 of What is Philosophy (English edition) are translations of "ce"s in the original French edition. In German edition, they are translated as "das"s which surely refer to "Werden" (becoming)s, not to "der Affect"s. But in this context, "ce" refers to "l'affect". Many common expressions to explain the concept "becoming" are used here (not an imitation, not an imaginary identification, not resemblance etc.), but I think nevertheless "ce"s refer to "affect"s.
Any suggestion or comment please.
