Hi all dear friends of Steemit.
Today I share with you a landscape watercolor that has as its subject one of the most famous and visited cities in the world: Venice.
A city of inimitable charm, unique, where the sea has coexisted for hundreds of years, with its lagoon and architectural works.
Venice has all the features suitable for those who love art.
Historic buildings of universal value, bridges over the lagoon of breathtaking beauty, one of the most beautiful squares in the world: Piazza San Marco.
Then there are the gondolas, boats that exist only in Venice, on which you can visit small streets, in complete tranquility and enjoy the charm of the city.

On the basis of these brief descriptions and above all of my travel memories, I made this watercolor, of pure fantasy, therefore without copying or looking at photographs.
In fact, as you can see Piazza San Marco, in my painting it overlooks the sea of ​​the lagoon.
We know that this is not the case, but I wanted to distort the urban and architectural layout of the city, to bring it to my goal: to try to create the magical and elegant atmosphere of the most famous water city in the world.

Ciao a tutti carissimi amici di Steemit.
Oggi condivido con voi un acquarello paesaggistico che ha come soggetto una delle città più famose e visitate del mondo: Venezia.
Una città dal fascino inimitabile, unica, dove convivono da centinaia di anni il mare, con la sua laguna e le opere architettoniche.
Venezia ha tutte le caratteristiche adatte per chi ama l'arte.
Palazzi storici di valore universale, ponti sulla laguna dalla bellezza mozzafiato, una piazza tra le più belle del mondo: piazza San Marco.
Poi ci sono le gondole, delle barche che esistono soltanto a Venezia, sulle quali è possibile visitare piccole calli, in tutta tranquillità e godere del fascino della città.

Sulla base di queste brevi descrizioni e soprattutto di miei ricordi di viaggio, ho realizzato questo acquarello, di pura fantasia, quindi senza copiare o guardare fotografie.
Infatti, come potete vedere piazza San Marco, nel mio dipinto affaccia sul mare della laguna.
Sappiamo che non è così, ma ho voluto stravolgere l'impianto urbanistico e architettonico della città, per portarlo al mio obiettivo: quello di cercare di creare l'atmosfera magica ed elegante della città sull'acqua più famosa del mondo.
