Turtle skeleton acrylic on canvas painting
This painting I did based off a Sulcata Tortoise skeleton, practicing skeletal structures. The original was 4ft wide by 3ft tall and now resides in Colorado. I went back and forth with this being done, and not for a while, part of me wanted to paint a planet or solar system inside the skeleton, which I really like the concept of that. I might do it on a print of it. Another idea was to paint a fetus inside of the skeleton, mainly because the shape of the inside looks like it would fit that well.
