One day trip to Way Kambas National Park

Welcome to home Sumatran elephants

Officially established in 1985, the Elephant Training Center, Way Kambas National Park is a national park covering 1,300 square kilometres in Lampung, Indonesia.
Among indonesian people, Way Kambas already very famous. If they said “elephant”, everyone must remember Lampung.

How to get location???

1. Using private transport: just find Way Kambas National Park on Google map or Waze.
2. Using public transport: arrived at Bakauheni Harbour taking a bus to Rajabasa Terminal and if u arrived at Radin Inten II International Airport taking taxi to Rajabasa Terminal or Pool Damri bus. After that, if u have been arrived at Pool Damri bus. Taking Damri bus to Way Kambas. You just pay Rp25.000.

What are you doing there?
From the entrance to the center of location will pass through a forest filled with monkeys. Have been arrived at center of location, you are able to see some elephants bathing. and then, you can try to ride the elephant by paying Rp20.000 for one round about 50-100 meters. If not satisfied, you can take the package short time cost of Rp150.000 to get around in the park with elephants for 30 minutes.
Other acts, there are elephants carrying wood, elephants can plow the fields and there is also a circus elephant attraction sits and lined with other elephants, elephants play soccer. Another attraction is the handlers who sleep and pass the elephant without stepping on it.
