Informal Steemit Introductory Post. HELLO! Please be nice. Haha

Soooo. It’s 3:15 in the morning. I woke up to the voice of my boyfriend while playing this currently trending mobile game – Rules of Survival (which got me kinda addicted, as well, haha!). And since I can’t force myself back to sleep, I might as well do something productive, right? I wanna say I should just be working overtime, but I won’t. :D

Hello there! Mabuhay from the beautiful Philippines where this beautiful Filipina lives (Hah! Can’t expect people to appreciate you if you don’t, right?). My name is Arielle Jazmine Roque (ring a bell? Hello! Disney Princesses! 😍 ), 24 years old, Philippines! I always like introducing myself in a pageant way, sorry. Haha I’m finally a part of this platform, thanks to my friends - @kyanzieuno, @jveronica and @ianceaz , for inviting me to join. I’ve always wanted an avenue to vent out the inner storyteller in me. So, here I am. 🤗

I belong to a crazy beautiful family of four, and was raised by two unbelievably strong and loving parents. I was born in the huge and bustling city of Manila, in Luzon area, Philippines. I was 9 when we migrated to Mindanao, southern part of the country. I was young, and a so-called “Manila Girl”, when we transferred. So, I did not like what I saw when we got to this cute little town called Koronadal City in the province of South Cotabato. But, as I grew up here, I have learned to love the place and its people. I actually want to talk about that love, maybe in my future posts. Hmm. 🤔

I’m a happy member working as Human Resource Development Officer/ Managed Virtual Assistant/ Customer Support/ Data Entry Virtual Assistant/ sometimes Graphic Designer for Dreametry, Inc. Yes, I have a lot of roles at work. And part time, I work as a freelance content writer/ freelance model and host. Hahaha Do I ever get tired? Of course. I'd like to share more of these responsibilities, so I'll save them for a future post. 😉

I’m the girl who’s in her mid-twenties, but feels like in her thirties or up. I’ve always put so much pressure in my whole body because of all the goals I want to achieve, and the things I want to provide and do for my family, especially my parents. I was in elementary (middle school days) when I started earning money, not that much though. I always look for different ways to earn, as much as I can. Because, again, life goals. 🙏 I may be in denial, but I’ve lived in the fear of failure all my life. Thus, I always push myself to my limits. I’ve experienced a fair share of life’s ups and downs, and have learned a lot from them, and will definitely want to talk about them in my posts here, next time.

So, I've been thinking... Why did I describe myself as an "Awkward Rambler" here in my Steemit profile. 😆😆😆 Hmm. I don't know really. Maybe because I can't think of any words to describe me at the moment. One thing is for sure though, I'm indeed a rambler. I love walking. I even walk home even after jogging at the town's oval plaza. The time I spend walking is one of my favorite quiet time. It gives me enough time to think about good things and happy thoughts. Walking also allows me to see beyond what I can see in a daily basis, what a relief. I love going to the gym and working out too, but that doesn't count as walking. Haha Just want to share.

And... yeah. I'm guilty awkward. You'll feel that when I'm around, especially if it's the first time. Haha I don't know why. Maybe because I'm a weird person. Hah! That's all for now because I don't want to bore you. :)
