Today I went out for running after work.

今日は仕事の後、ランニングをしました。

Today is "Major Heat" Day. In East Asia, a year is devided into 24 solar terms. "Major Hear" is the 12th solar term, and it more often refers to the day when the solar term begins. "Major Heat" Day is said to be the hottest day in a year. But this year the rainy season has not yet ended, so today was not as hot as "Major Heat" day of usual years.
今日は二十四節気の12番目、「大暑」です。一年で最も暑いとされる日ですが、今年はまだ梅雨が明けていないので、例年の大暑ほどではありませんでした。

But even so, it was hot and humid, so 22K running was not easy. I was so tired. Soon, perhaps, the rainy season is going to end, and it will get hotter. I worry about how hot will be in mid-summer.
そうはいっても、やはり蒸し暑く、22km走は楽ではありません。疲れました。まもなく梅雨があければ、もっと暑くなるでしょう。先が思いやられます。
