Initially I only thought that it was only an interesting idea, and now...steemCreated with Sketch.

Just like in life, you often come across an idea that is interesting, however you feel that it is always challenging to take that first step.

Over time, you ended up not going with the idea and it often led to some regrets.
On the other hand, if you had taken the first step, you may realise that it wasn't as challenging as you initially thought and be glad that you went through with the idea.

It may be the case that not all ideas will be going according to plan and you have to prepare properly for the idea (performing your due diligence throughout the process etc.).
There will always be ups and downs and situations differ, and during this time a Positive Attitude and Patience is key, and you can learn from that experience and the mistakes that you may make.

This was similar to how I felt when I first read the post:

Learn To Draw With Friends Is Back!!! by @tonyr
(See the link below for more info)

For those who don't know about it:

Essentially, tonyr provided 3 pictures in the contest link (along with the image credits).

There are Amazing Art works on the contest, and you can either submit one of your drawings or vote on other participants' drawings.

(I have combined my drawing attempts below)

I was still quite new when I read the post and thought that it was an interesting idea.
However, I didn't immediately have the thought of starting a drawing and submitting it.
I was quite busy at that time and the only time I would have would be late in the night.

Some days later, I came across the same post and I saw that there were some amazing drawings being posted.
This time, a thought came to me that maybe I can try submit just one drawing (starting off with the Beginner Option).
Before that thought left me, I got a piece of paper a pencil and started the rough sketch.

In the beginning, I was having some issues with the sketch, but for some reason drawing actually puts my mind at peace and I was able to continue just a bit longer with the drawing. In the end, it wasn't as challenging or as bad as I thought in the beginning.

I took some time to create a post for the drawing, and was glad that I went through with the 1st attempt.
The next day, I opened the post (wasn't expecting anything) and I saw some votes on the drawing and some positive comments.
I really appreciate the support and try to respond to the comments.

The support provided me with some motivation and I decided to submit a 2nd entry for the art contest.
Again, I could only use night time to draw it, and this entry took slightly longer than I had expected because the option I chose required more detail.
I made sure to plan and pace appropriately, by spending a few nights and not rush it in one night so that it wouldn't negatively affect my daily life.

I took some time to create a post for the 2nd entry and this time to my surprise, there were more support than I have expected which I am very grateful of.
I thought to myself, since I have attempted 2 of the 3 options, why don't I just give all 3 a try.
Before that thought left me, I attempted the 3rd entry.

So at the end of this, I have learned about something, which may be obvious but easily forgotten when you are busy:

Even though I only had time in the night, it was not that I had no time, I just had to make some time for the drawing.

Sometimes in life, we don't have time to do everything, and this is where prioritising is very important, and we should try to prioritise on the items which we value and would hopefully also have a positive impact on others.

If you have read until here, I thank you for your time and I have shown the 3 drawing attempts below (along with the link to the process pictures if you are interested).
