Humans are social creatures by nature, we naturally seek companionship with others. Aristotle once said; "Humans are by nature a social animal". As the social animals we are, we want to be perceived in a positive light among others.
It's no surprise that one of the social tools we have developed is Apology. That's why whenever we hurt someone, its only natural to say; "I am sorry".

AN AFRICAN GIRL'S NATURAL HAIR JOURNEY (4C HAIR)

Most black African girls can tell you a story similar to this one. Stories of how they came to learn and take care of their hair. Stories of life pre-internet and how they always wanted their hair to behave and lay straight. This is mine. I have always had beautiful black hair but I never took care of it when I was younger. All I remember was wanting it to be bone straight and shiny. However, I have kinky 4c hair and the shrinkage and frizz was never my friend.

RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS CAN HAPPEN ALL YEAR LONG!

I drove my youngest son to a filmmaking camp in Milwaukee, every day. He LOVED it! This is write up his creative alley. On one of the days, I forgot to get a parking voucher at the desk, which made our parking fees much less. Being there all week, means that our car was parked there all day. I was thankful to have help with this expense. No one was around, and this lovely young girl, who helped out with the camps, offered to find me someone who could give me a voucher. She made phone calls, and she waited with us, until someone came. I'm sure that she was so tired and just wanted to go home for the day, but she went above and beyond the call of duty for us!
