Sometimes a lot of emotions and problems are piled up on everyone, but there is not always an opportunity to just talk about them. Therefore, there must be a number of people who can listen and understand without background. After all, sometimes this is the best medicine. Let go of the burden from the heart, and share with the loved one all that is painful. Not in order to hear the advice or instruction "how to live on", but simply because it is important for each of us to be understood and heard.

Back On The Homestead

The rain has brought welcome relief to the parched soil here and the
lawns and ponds are grateful. Normally when we have rain for more
than one day there is significant flooding because of our black clay
soil which doesn't easily accept water.

Many people start with rabbits on their homestead. They are great to start with if that is what you want. We were not thrilled having rabbits, here is the down and dirty of our experience with rabbits. I know some of you will say they are great and for you, they may be but they were not for us.
