Hitman: New studio opens, more games in progress

Hitman developer IO Interactive announced it would open a new studio in Malmö, Sweden. Not only does it want to take care of developing additional content for the Hitman brand, but there are already more games in the pipeline.
With a new studio, which opens Hitman developer IO Interactive in Malmö, Sweden, the Hitman (now for 32,99 € buy) brand is to be strengthened.
A new Hitman studio
"We are very excited and proud to announce IOI Malmö and we will expand IOI to join a vibrant game developer community and bring our own unique IOI culture to this amazing city," said Hakan Abrak, CEO of IO Interactive.
With the new studio, the fans of Hitman should get a lot of new content. "In addition, we'll be flexing our muscles to create brand new and exciting ventures, new universes and new franchises - in other words, IOI Malmö and Copenhagen are a family," continues Hakan Abrak. "The IOI expansion in Malmö was a natural choice as there is a very strong existing video game industry and I believe it offers every opportunity to become the epicenter of game development in Scandinavia."
Fans of IO Interactive can look forward to what will be announced in the future for new products.
