Greetings to every noble Steemian on this beautiful platform that I have fallen in love with. Thank you all for supporting me from the first day that I joined this platform and posted my first achievement post. Today, I want to introduce you to my village as my Achievement 4 task.
About Bekwarra Local Government Area
I am from the Bekwarra local government area of Cross River. State which is located in the northern senatorial district. In Cross River, Ogoja, Obudu, and Yada LGAs, as well as Benue State, all border my hometown, Bekwarra LGA.
There are a multitude of tribes in the area, with Bekwarra ethnic subgroup residents making up the majority of the population. The two most prevalent (practiced) religions in Bekwarra are "traditional religion" and "Christianity." Bekwarra, as a local government administration, is divided into the following 10 political wards:

The administrative center for Bekwarra Local Government Area is in Abuochiche. Benue State forms its northern border, followed by Ogoja Local Government Area in the south, Obudu Local Government Area in the east, and Yala Local Government Area in the west. If you're from Cross River North, you'll most likely pass through my village.
Economic Activities of the Bekwarra People
The main economic activities in the region are farming, raising livestock (such as cattle, goats, and poultry), and small-scale trading, among other things. Farmers who sell their produce both inside and outside the state make up the majority of the native population.
The Culture of Bekwarra
The region has a very rich cultural history. The New Yam Festival, which takes place during the first week of September, is the main traditional celebration. In addition to this, in my local government, we have our own traditional market days, which are:
