A few photos I took this week at my cabin in between frequent scattered showers and steady rain.

This particular chipmunk is quite social. Little to no fear of me at all.

They are perfectly safe to eat. They are abundant around my cabin. I love their fresh wintergreen flavor.

I managed to squeak a few photos between the rain drops. This little chipmunk truly is very very friendly..!

Thatโs great we have been dry most of the day but storms heading in now as long as it doesnโt slow down my train I am fine with it

Actually the storm came a little later than expected I got home about 5 minutes before they stepped up here pouring down right now ;)
Yes our Spring has mostly been wet and cool as well
@annephilbrick that is a cute chipmunk, we do not have them here just squirrels. Your area is so beautiful in the spring, it is amazing how fast plants grow after the cold goes away.

Leaf shadows! I love it. That is a lovely sleek and shiny little chipmunk... It must have had a good winter this year. A beautiful walk around your place!

I thought it was so cool the shadow itself was green on the rock.
This last Winter was a brutally cold one. I guess the little chippy managed to hoard up enough food to survive..

That green Shadow is very cool! Our chipmunks emerged from their winters naps looking very healthy, too!

It's tempting to feed it peanuts.. The cute factor. They do pretty good foraging what the birds drop on the ground from the feeder. I don't want the chipmunks to get bigger than I am....lol..๐..!!
