Workout - 8/7/16
Good morning, everybody!
It's Tuesday! We're all over the initial shock of getting back into our weekday routine (hopefully) with a little help from yesterday's post (read it HERE), so what better time for a workout?!
Chris and I have changed up our fitness routine of late and have taken a prolonged break from CrossFit, but a friend of ours who is an absolutely incredible CrossFit masters athlete is in town for the week and we decided to join him in the gym yesterday for some CrossFit fun... We are SO sore and tired haha!!! HOWEVER, we're going in again today to keep moving and hold onto the momentum - no excuses!
So whether you're sore and tired like us, stressed, busy, or anything else that makes you want to skip the gym, make time for your workout today! Making time is always better than making excuses. I've never been bummed that I chose to carve out some time for exercise, I've only ever felt better after I was done :)
So here's a workout for you guys to try today! The work intervals get shorter as the rest intervals get longer (hip hip hooray!) so make sure to give your intensity level a bump as your work times decrease!
:50on/:10off/:40on/:20off/:30on/:30off
Complete this list TWICE :)
This is easy to time, easy to modify, and easy to reuse with different movements... You could change this up in countless ways and it can be done with or without equipment, literally anywhere. Outside, at home, in the garage, in the gym, in your hotel room... Get sweating no matter what, friends!
