One big, open air brothel
It is the famous Walking street in Pattaya. Of course I had to visit it being nearby. 😅
Almost every building there is a nightclub or bar and it's full with thai women and ladyboys. Also there's different street magicians performing the same tricks and quite a lot of guys calling you to see some "pussy show".
It was interesting for me to see this place, though it felt quite uncomfortable. Some of the girls there feel uncomfortable too - when they see a camera they cover their face; while other girls pose and smile - I suppose they are ok with their job.
My friend and I didn't go into any of those bars or clubs though, but made some pictures just walking around. Sorry that the quality is not that good, it was too dark for my Canon 550d! 😅

Hey great job! I think you handled the low light really well. Pics are definitely SFW I think. Pattaya is an interesting place, the last time I was in Thailand it was for a swimming competition.. a loooong time ago. It was in 1997, and when we arrived they told us all to stay away from Pattaya unless you wanted to get AIDS.
Most of us were 15/16 years old so really there was no chance we were going to sneak out and go to pattaya! :)

I don't know anything about AIDs situation in Pattaya, I just know that you can find lots of older white men there, some are looking for thai wifes 😏
Yeah that is unavoidable when you need to do noise reduction. Sometimes I find if there's too much noise its better to go with a black and white shot.
The AIDS situation has probably changed a lot since back then, and even back then its possible the teachers were just trying to scare us into good behaviour! who knows :)

Hi Anna, Traveling has always something of great interest to me. Traveling plus photography takes it to another level because you bring those memories with you.
