Uno strano ponte (ENG-ITA)

Quando ero bambina, mi piaceva guardare mio nonno dipingere (per hobby si dilettava con la pittura).
A volte, io e i miei cugini passavamo i pomeriggi con lui a disegnare insieme. Spesso, per giocare, mi mettevo alla sua postazione, indossavo la sua sciarpa, prendevo il pennello e lo imitavo, fingendo di dipingere i suoi quadri. Mi incuriosivano molto certi suoi quadretti in cui era rappresentato uno strano ponte, tutto storto, e mi chiedevo perché lo disegnasse così: avevo persino il dubbio che non sapesse disegnare i ponti.
Crescendo, ho scoperto che si trattava di quello che viene chiamato "Ponte Gobbo", un ponte antico dalla forma irregolare, situato a Bobbio, in Val Trebbia, in provincia di Piacenza.
Sono poi andata più volte a visitare il paese, del quale mi sono innamorata. Il ponte è davvero molto caratteristico: di sera, con il rumore del fiume Trebbia che scorre, l'aria fresca che attraversa la vallata e le luci che arrivano dalle case, ha qualcosa di magico, e a qualunque ora del giorno e della notte è perfetto per essere fotografato.

When I was a child, I liked to watch my grandfather while he was painting (he was an amateur painter).
Sometimes, me and my cousins, we spent the afternoons with him, drawing together. Often, to play, I was standing just lik him at his drawing desk, wearing his scarf, I was taking his brush and I was imitating him, pretending to paint his paintings. I was very intrigued by certain pictures in which a strange bridge was represented, all wrong, and I wondered why he designed it this way: I even had the doubt that he did not know how to draw bridges.
Growing up, I discovered that it was called "Ponte Gobbo", an irregularly shaped ancient bridge, located in Bobbio, Val Trebbia, near to Piacenza.
Then, I went several times to visit this place, which I fell in love with. The bridge is very characteristic: in the evening, with the sound of the flowing Trebbia river, the fresh air that flows through the valley and the lights coming from the houses, it has something magical, and at any time of day or night it's a perfect subject for a nice photo.
