Precious little Marley~

I love dogs, always have and always will. Up to now my family has the pleasure of owing three gorgeous dogs, a cocker spaniel, Burby and a labrador, Ivy. Precious Marely bulldog came into our lives unexpectedly, a colleague who bred Australian bulldogs asked if we would take on a special needs dog. She explained that this little puppy of eight weeks old had a severe heart murmur and the people who were going to buy her did not want her. Consequently she would probably spend a lot of her time in her breeding kennels. Of course it was a yes, how could one say no. Dogs are meant to be home dogs!

Her breeding kennel name was Malenol, we call her Marley. She was a Marley long before it became a popular dog's name.

With a severe heart murmur Marley was suppose to have a short life, no longer than 5 years we were told. Well she is about 4 months of 10 years old now. This beautiful old dog who only gives unconditional love is still with us. She demands comfort, pats, attention and soft beds. Bulldogs are a breed on their own. Marley even likes sitting on your lap, the closer the better if she can!

We don't think she is going anywhere soon. She is having too good a time here.
