ULOG #12: Increased Clarity In Midst of Community Hospitalization Heartache - Sir Terry aka @SurpassingGoogle's Saturday Talk and After Party - #0.1

Sir Terry aka @SurpassingGoogle aka Witness SteemGigs's father is sick in hospital and his entire #SteemGigs, #Ulogs/#Uloggers, #UnTalented, #TearDrops, #Secrets and other communities have been circling the wagon to help him through this tough time.

Which brings up an interesting question I wasn't aware I was even asking:

Is Sir Terry's aka ***@SurpassingGoogle's weekly discord #SteemGigs-hosted Saturday Talk the foundation piece, the true hub, of all his Steem/Steemit/online initiatives?

Sharing additional clarity on what I feel and think after attending my fourth @SurpassingGoogle Saturday Talk but the first for me without his presence.

Hi Soul, Steem and all @SteemGigs, @Ulogs, @Uloggers, @TearDrops, @UnTalented and other members of @SurpassingGoogle's Family,

Out of the blue yesterday, I got a deeper understanding of what these Sir Terry Saturday Talk events have come to mean for me.

This deeper clarity came while I was writing a normal comment on @snook's appeal for programming help for all of Sir Terry's various projects.

I've been commenting about what I feel about these events in some of my posts and in comments on other community member #Ulogs. I even spoke about how I felt the very first time I attended Sir Terry's Talk four Saturdays ago.

So I'm going to start tracking my thoughts and feelings about this specific event for a couple reasons:

• The simple power of @SurpassingGoogle's weekly Saturday discord event started to intrigue me the minute I stepped in to the online 'room' that first Saturday a few short weeks ago

• I experience @SurpassingGoogle's weekly Saturday Talk and After Party as a consciously directed social healing event

• I've facilitated and hosted live offline and online group events for a few decades. What makes them work has always and will probably always intrigue me

• One big reason public speaking but more specifically interactive group events intrigues me is the interplay of group dynamics... how everyone present affects everyone else who is present

• I'm in to cosmic healing, especially group cosmic healing. The way our Earth planet is going, there's a huge need for it, so I'm intrigued when I buck it up, especially as someone who doesn't speak of facilitating healing himself

• There are other factors but I'm not going to list them now. There will be follow-up posts on this theme, hence the #0.1 at the end of this post's title

I'll also be doing a review of last Saturday's Talk, the very first one I've attended that Sir Terry was not present. I ended up writing some of it in the first draft of this post, but I'll share what I wrote in the event review post.

So much is going on this week with Sir Terry. Personal and with his initiatives. #Ulogs released in alpha testing mode via https://ulogs.net. I've totally switched to it for comments and most posts and it's so 'comfy' as another #Ulogger said yesterday.

With all these developments this past week I'm really looking forward to Sir Terry's Saturday Talk tonight. I always enjoy them but tonight's promises to be extra super special. ;)

As you know, the foundation piece of all that Sir Terry is doing is his Saturday Talks where everyone has a chance to interact with him live. All his initiatives serve the attendees, his true fans, in the discord room then everyone else on Steemit and out in the world via the wider internet. But that Saturday Talk is the true hub, the heart of where he expresses his plans, his vision and his love, heart to heart, for each one there.

I've only attended Sir Terry's aka @SurpassingGoogle's Saturday Talk three times now. Today will make it the fourth. And it amazes me each time how loving and accepting the vibe is in the room.

Each person comes open to learn cool wise nuggets and tips to apply in their life here on Steemit and in daily living generally. And I find these are not dry and run of the mill. Even if we have heard some before, there's always a twist, an underpinning principle that he adds to help his listeners get the true power of how and why a specific approach can be much more powerful in results.

Then the After Party is deliberately designed to give each person space to be free to express, both in words and in song.

And what I love about it is that the room is so full and alive with plankton and small minnows who would not ordinarily be able to speak so freely in any other group I've attended. Big and small truly share equal space and blend and interact harmoniously and often hilariously.

Every time I'm there, I'm laughing or chuckling or just plain trying to get my dropped jaw off the floor from hearing such a passionate array of both karaoke and professional singing. It's just a beautiful place to be, to spend time with others from all over the globe. Truly international and grass roots.
