Banks of the US may prefer to stay onside from Facebook’s cryptocurrency.

The Libra Association is making conversations with various lenders all over the world for joining their ranks, but the banks are still staying away from this idea after being a witness to a costumers' reaction to Apple Pay and regulatory scrutiny of digital currencies.

Do you think taking couple paragraphs from an external site is worth $40+? That's outrageous and should be flagged for bid bot abuse.

That's called promotion mate, and if you check you can see that bidbots currently are not profitable, so I'm basically investing in steem for to promote my project...

Promoting your project? This is a literally a news story. I see you have been doing this for some time using a myriad of articles representing many different projects.

I think it's just about to catch up with you. You're basically using bots to spam content that isn't yours.

Unless you have a more sufficient explanation, I will be reporting you promptly. Your story doesn't seem to be consistent.

That's my project, can you show any other post linking to another?
Wtf is going on here, I remember a year ago there was an initiative like this which failed, because that's STEEM man, someone posts quality posts and gets free upvotes and earns STEEM, others use platform for promotion and gives value to it, if noone does like me STEEM will have no value..

Btw, your team just left 27 spammy comments under my post, that's really worth downvotes!

Nice deflection.

Follow on comments are going to be removed with our token system but currently these comments are the mechanism we use to reward flaggers.

These are flaggers that contribute their power to reduce the ROI of people trying to take advantage of the system and risk counterflags. They are doing the Steem community a service so those rewards are well deserved.

I'm actually taking the system on a final test as I type this. Finally, abusers won't be able to use them as a smoke screen.

Like you know what you're doing right now?

So maybe you should make a final launch before starting to post spammy comments?
And you still didn't answer my previous question, can you show a post where I've posted a half-content from another project?
If you check my posts you'll see I've created much quality content and got a good follower base, currently I'm using my account to promote my project and I'm investing in steem.

Fighting abuse with an imperfect system is better than not fighting abuse with any system. Bottom line is we make a difference.

Think you are likely splitting hairs because you thought you were going to get away with bid bot abuse.

Abusers aren't going to take a time out while I code everything so we will work with what we got.

I see plenty of article excerpts you have used bots on. Reviewed your social media and I think you are not being forthcoming. Not seeing anything any ties from that site and social media pages to you.

ID theft is common round these parts. You know that, right?

:DDD, check my Facebook, I'm the admin of Blockchain Today page.
Basically I'm not scared and I'm not even angry and not taking this person, I don't care about some downvotes or some $ my post lost, as I said I'm not doing this for money.
I just want you and guys like you to understand that this kind of initiative must be done with caution, you may hunt people who posts really shitty content, but you shouldn't hunt businesses who's gonna bring value to steem, I'm trying to PR this platform every day, telling my colleagues, partners, clients that this is great place for marketing, but your actions makes it much harder.
Next post I'll do from @blockchaintoday accout, which is already ready and I going to use bidbots to push it's content and you're free to downvote it as well, freedom is the main thing I love this platform for. And maybe my next post will be about your project and I'll ask communities opinion about all this, maybe you are right and I'm missing something, but I don't think so...
Good luck!

They definitely should. Facebook's currency is bullshit. Stay away from it.

Proactively verified by the @steemcleaners. Link to Steemit on official site. Linked Steem account transactions correlate with this account. Both accounts now verified.

Thanks, @guiltyparties.

I'm glad that the ID theft aspect of this is now settled. Personally, think this was a misuse of promotion but have opened it up for discussion on our discord.

It's a better use of the reward pool to actually promote content with value exclusive to our blockchain. That was the other factor I considered when flagging.

People using trending to draw traffic away from the blockchain is not doing us any favors imho

Absolutely. He would also get a better return leveraging Steemit's SEO properly instead.

If you continue pressure on businesses who buy steem to keep its values high you'll end up with quality posts receiving $0.1 reward only, just think about that...

When it comes to misuse of the reward pool, I don't think we should be making distinction between classes of entity.

Whether it be a person, a company, organization, Koolaid drinking cult or underwater basket weaving club, we need to have standards for how the reward pool is used if we want to blockchain to retain value and they should be enforced down the board.

Post payout should be typically about the substance the content and value it brings to Steem. You have been given feedback and hope you will take it into consideration and make improvements.

As a business, you have a reputation to maintain so consider how you use the shared resource of the reward pool if you want the community to take kindly to you.

I understand what you mean, that low-quality must be moderated not depending on who publishes it, but why do you consider our content us low-quality? It's a good content, we've worked hard to create it and we share it on many social-media platforms like FB and twitter, and it's the same everywhere, short post with a link to read more, why shouldn't we consider Steemit as a good media platform for promotion?
Why don't you downvote dlike posts then?
I'm going to give steemit steemit users a chance to follow us and stay updated with the recent news, we don't take them out if the blockchain, we deliver our product on it. And I'm going to use bidbots to reach us much audience as I can. And since my strategy showing pretty good results I hope others will follow my example as well.
And I'm sure this will cause steem to develop a bigger community and some day good writers won't need to use bidbots at all...

Sorry for the miscommunication.

I didn't mean to suggest the articles are low quality (well except for that one we discussed w the spelling / grammar issues).

The articles I checked look fine. I'm just saying they don't really bring anything additional to Steem in terms of value to the network.

If all anybody did was fill Trending up with cross posts, do you think there will be more incentive or less incentive for content consumers to come to our chain?

That's pretty much the issue. Hope we are more or less on the same page now.

What does this mean?

It means that the officially-accepted entity that verifies accounts, the Steemcleaners, have verified that you are the owner of your website and accounts and will get a verification badge soon. Anytime anyone claims to own content outside of Steem, we have to verify the account due to rampant ID theft. This also protects your content from plagiarism and is generally good news.
