OUR FIRST NATIONAL MEET-UP_ #STACH MEETS #STEEMITGHANA

in #promo-steem7 years ago (edited)

The Steemit Ghanaian community has been gradually growing and the momentum is slowly mountain up.

They say: a journey of a thousand miles begin with a step.

It all started from an idea by @tj4real. An idea to get some renowned steemians like @ejemai to help poise and steer us in the right direction, motivate, encourage and give hope to the despair and those who are down and without vision about the future and potential of steemit.

In preparation towards the programme, we managed to collect information from all steemians in ghana to be able to set a perfect fit for the location.

Please the colours from the two images do not correlate

The location and venue was set and all were invited to the Sunyani Teachers Co-Opperative Union Hall.

Saliva does not walk alone;

So @ejemai did not come alone, he came with 6 great Steemians, some of which I was familiar with their works. The team included @tojukaka, @ewuosu, @gee1, @fisteganos, @Ibukun, @adejoke16

The event commenced at exactly 9am but by then I was about 131 km away from the venue with a Google map estimated time of 2.5 hours.... That is like excluding traffic jams.... Because we all know what happens on ground.

You all would believe it is better late than never

I arrived at the very dying moment of meeting 😳🙈but I thank the good Lord I finally arrived.

What could I do than lock in on the socialisation frenzy.

Well most of the Ghanaian newbie community members got to meet me for the first time. Some were...... Well I would say 'disappointed'.

Why?

I didn't match the mental profile they had created for #Mr.Anaman..... Lol

Some came in thinking I was like

Well I look a lot more like

There was more fun after the programme. We all settled down in the living room had some drinks and enjoyed more food

I managed to make acquaintance with one Nigerian lady, @gee1 as she was the very person sitting next to me. The Nigerian steemit community have some sweet flowers 😍😘

The meeting wasn't over after @ejemai and delegation left, we began to deliberate, suggest, discuss, and settle on things a community.

I left Sunyani with all my pals from Kumasi, @mcsamm, @collinz, @steem4depoor. I arrived home around 10pm.

All in all..... We had soo much fun......

I'm very sad you missed it.....

Try to be around next time!!!

This is @anaman from #teamghana keeping it real
