Green Smoothie of The Day: Heart-Friendly Berry Almond Protein Bash ღ ღ ღ

Good morning fellow steemians! If you like the flavor of almonds, then I'm sure you’ll love this almond protein-packed smoothie, which contains both raw almonds and almond milk.

Almonds are not only a good source of plant-based protein (6 grams an ounce), every one-ounce serving also packs vitamin E (35% DV (daily value)), magnesium (20% DV), riboflavin (20% DV), calcium (8%DV) and potassium (6% DV). Plus, almonds are a low-glycemic index food and contain healthy fats.

The nut is very beneficial for heart health. It helps manage cholesterol and prevents heart attacks. It boosts energy levels and improves brain power. Almonds prevent overeating and stabilize blood sugar levels.

Who's up for a protein-filled pink health drink?

Ingredients

2 cup spinach
2 cups unsweetened almond milk
1 cup raspberries
1 cup blueberries
1 banana
1/2 cup raw unsalted almonds (soaked)

Directions

  1. Soak almonds overnight.
  2. Blend spinach and almond milk until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and blend again. If you have a high-speed blender you can throw in everything at once. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more almond milk or water.
  3. Top with chia seeds, goji berries, flax seed, hemp hearts, etc., if you like.

I love juicing and do it daily I especially love green juices and wild berry juices they are really great for perking your energy and and overhaul health benefits. I love super foods and juices my mind and body is totally energized and well I just love them. Thanks for posting @amadat
