By now, if you've been active on Steemit for any time at all, you've probably already started recommending it to others, and that's great! Everybody can benefit (in many, many ways) from being a part of the Steemit ecosystem, and that's awesome!

However, it seems as though it is perhaps becoming so awesome that it is almost intimidating to people? Some people join, and immediately start introducing themselves, and that's what I recommend! Break the ice! Show the world how YOU plan on changing it, for the better. Or anything else that interests or intrigues you! And remember to always be REAL. No trolling, no follow-for-follow, just UPVOTE what you deem worthy of being seen by others, it's quote simple, really! Follow-for-follow will only clog up your Homepage, and it leaves you with an audience which might not even care about your content. What is a MUCH better route to go is UPVOTING people's posts, COMMENTING, and making some POSTS of your own, all of which will reward you. You know, the same stuff everybody else is wasting their time doing, on fully censored and centralized apps, in hopes of superficial digital "likes" which do nothing but provide a primitive ego high :D WOW how times change so fast!

People need to realize that you WANT to introduce yourself on here, regardless of whether you're an introvert, extrovert, crypto holder, Soccer Mom, Convicted Felon, Homeless Person, Migrant Worker, Farmer, Deep Sea Diver, literally ANYBODY can share their story here on Steemit and nobody should be shy to introduce themselves, ever! Everybody has something unique to show the world on here, and people should not squander the very potential they were born into! You've gotta dive right into Steemit, as many of you know, and many of you will soon realize. The more you learn about it, the more respect you have for the creators (@dantheman & @ned) and everybody else who keeps the beautiful Steem pumping in these social media powerhouse veins we got going on here (:

My message to new users: Don't be shy! Dive on in! Introduce yourself, and then start making individual posts about certain things that highlight your unique talents, knowledge and experiences; After all, you're a highly unique humanoid and that's something to be proud of! This is one of the most friendly and accepting communities on Earth, and I think we should all be grateful to be a part of it!
