Almond Energy Balls

Ingredients

• 1 cup almonds;
• 1 cup of protein powder;
• 1/4 cup of cocoa;
• 1/8 teaspoon of salt;
• 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil;
• 6 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup;
• 1/2 cup of coconut milk;
• 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract;
• 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut shavings plus a little for caving in.
  
  

Preparation

You put almonds, protein powder, cocoa, salt in the food processor and grind until a uniform mass is formed. In a small bowl, mix coconut oil, coconut milk, honey and vanilla, and then add to the protein-nut powder. Stir until smooth, add coconut chips and mix again.

Then, form small balls from the resulting mixture, dump them in coconut shavings and send them to the refrigerator.
