If you were - you probably know the magic of the place. If you have not yet visited - then it really does not matter age or exercise, take a day to indulge in the sights that do good in the eyes, in this green, in all the life that is momentarily available and inviting.

The Biblical Zoo is now located in a beautiful valley in the southwestern part of Jerusalem, and on an area of about 250 dunams, animals are presented from various departments, including mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, insects and mollusks. The number of species is about 250 species, which come from around the world and represent diverse habitats.

The garden is built so that there are pools, a large lake and waterfalls connected to each other. These are surrounded by grassy expanses and pass through trails and plenty of shady places and invite you to rest.

You can spend a few hours in this garden and explore it in its circular orbit, or choose shorter routes.

The center also has centers for displaying and learning, some of which are animal cages, and some of them also include experimentation, exploration and invitation to the children's interactive involvement.

In the central part there is also a living area, a sculpture garden and a stunning playground with wooden facilities.

Everything is very accessible and comfortable, very varied, inviting and creates a magical visitor experience, suitable for any age.

We walked along the bypass road, the kids were really excited and ran from cage to cage to find out who was the animal waiting for them at the next point.

We looked at the eggs of raptors in the hatchery, explored and planted animal traces, fed Lori parrots from small glasses, moved to the safari area, and felt so close to the animals.

In the impressive tree structure of the Noah's Ark we saw a movie about the zoo and we knew more deeply the therapists, as well as the animals.

From there we returned to the bypass road and went down the middle to the animal corner, the playground and the sculpture garden.

The Australia world led us back to the lake in front of the entrance, to the beautiful flamingos and the swans who swam in the charming landscape.

So rich and diverse, in the types of animals, in the habitats, and in the experience of acquaintance - once through glass, once entering the cage, once feeding, and once visiting a real tropical garden.

We hurried because the zoo was closed. And in fact we could have stayed longer than the four hours we spent in this place.

We had a great experience and visiting the place is highly recommended !!

Attached are pictures of our wonderful visit to the garden, and then you can read about the special activity that will take place tomorrow at the zoo - marking the election day.
