Are witches really evil?

Why witches are believed to be evil, unlike fairies? while both are known for doing magic.

Mostly witches are portrayed in Disney movies as obsessed with remaining young forever.

They want beauty and immortality, who doesn't want it?

Take the example of an old German, mother Gothel, who found a golden flower that grew in wildness when a drop of the Sun fell on it.

She reached it and became young when she touched it while singing her so-called magical song.

She hid the flower from the world.
What was wrong with that? I don't think any.
She deserved it because she was the one who found it.

But she was still evil,
not because wanting to live young forever or
hiding the flower,
but for choosing to steal a girl with golden hair to fulfill her desires.

^{When you steal anyone's child, you steal her/his parent's right to be a father and mother.}

Take a real example...

Who tempted Eve to eat from the forbidden tree and what was she promised?

To live forever (young and beautiful)

She was instructed by the Almighty to eat anything in heaven but not from that tree.

She had everything in her access but humans want only those things which are not in their access.

It's inside us to live young forever, who doesn't want it?

I blame men for setting this beauty standard for women.

But the path we choose, matters.

Back to witch vs fairies

Both do magic, one has a good reputation while the other tops from the bottom.

Just because of the choices they make.

One does magic to help others and to spread righteousness in the world.

And by help means,
getting some girl a fancy evening gown,
and shoes of glass,
for a ball,
to find a boy,
who will be ready to fall for her,
but of course, till the clock ticks 11:59 am.

What more good does a fairy can do with her magic? Getting in a relationship was and is the biggest problem in the world.

While the witch does it for her evil aims.

For me both witch and fairy are overrated.

We don't need them.

We have the potential to get things we want by taking action for the betterment of our lives.

Why this whole debate?

Because I made a painting and one of my friends pointed out that she looks like a witch.

I suppose she looks like Bellatrix Lestrange in HP.

Dark, beautiful, psychotic, pure blood, and a witch.

Also when we see a woman wearing that much make up we tend to think she is a slut or something is wrong about her.

We all (girls) wanna have this criminal-like look but can't have it outside of the comfort of our house for many reasons.

A week ago, I tried my first oil painting on canvas. It's not that i paint with watercolors or draw sketches, no, i do nothing.
And I regret it after making this painting.

Art heals, it's the most beautiful thing in this world

Painting is an art and I was a science student, never did anything artistic till I graduated.

So, I took my brother's mini canvas, paints, and brushes. I was feeling blue or was just bored.

I googled a pretty girl's sketch and finalized it for my painting.

I aimed to make a seducing figure but...

^{1.Took a canvas without the permission of the owner. Because I'm in charge here, I'm the firstborn}

^{2.Made it manually. You can see a girl wearing a hat and earing, which disappeared in thin air by the end of the painting}

^{3.Folks around me weren't satisfied with the eyes of the girl, so turned her into a shy girl with eyes lowered and regretted it(laughing)}

^{4.Again fixed her eyes, earrings are still there}

^{5.Started painting her hat and left side in black. However, the mess was created when I took the advice of a clown who told me to brush it with water first. I don't know if that is necessary because I didn't Google it}

^{7.it's time for smoky eyes and eyebrows}

^{8.My favorite part was to apply red lipstick and earrings. It ruined though because those ears looked like any dwarf's ear. I mistakenly colored half of the ear part in black:(}

^{9.Made it cringe by applying silver in that area but the idea behind was to paint it all black later on. Don't know why I didn't apply black directly. Am, o yes I do recall now why, because the paint wasn't mine so I didn't mind wasting it}

^{10.This black beauty is ready to walk on the red carpet lol. Jokes apart, these kinds of smoky eyes are seen in horror movies (my friend's comment), but I liked the final look of the eyes and red lipstick of course. I wish to do this kind of make-up in real life too**}
