Plato was not only a good student but a very strong wrestler and a playwright, which is one of the most important reasons for his fame to this day.
The philosopher Plato was also famous for his dialogues, which he began writing as he was forty years old and ended five years later in the form of discussions with figures bearing the names, most notably the Socrates dialogue, which received many objections.
Another important fact about the great philosopher is that he was one of the greatest contributors to the rise of Greek literature and we do not escape the truth if we say that Plato is one of the best and greatest writers who have witnessed Greek literature.
Plato founded the Academy of Athens in 388 BC, which is the first academy of higher education in the Western world, and some go further and say that Plato Academy is the first on earth.
interesting things i didn't know. A wrestler.. we discovered him at school as educated creative mind and my imagination was rather a more lean and less muscular man.. but that's good :) body and mind as unity, just logical! Thank you!
