Whale. Cosmic whale. Art

Yesterday, the topic of whales was attached to me, and before that I was drawing a space. And now I thought, why not connect the two topics? Let it be a cosmic whale, as a message to the universe)) Ay, whales, I'm here ... and I want to you! =)

I continue to draw a limited palette of watercolors "Nevskaya Palitra": Prussian blue, violet, pink quinacridone. Paper Palazzo 280g / m2, 70% cotton. White gouache.

First, a sketch of the silhouette of the whale and the balls. When all the lines are defined, I simply cheat them. And I remove the extra lines with an eraser.

I turn to watercolors. I wet the sheet with water. I begin to fill with balls, trying to take different shades to create transitions between colors. Then I go down to the whale. With fillings everything turns out simply and quickly. Even a child can repeat, you can try with children. They are delighted with such pictures)

Now it is necessary to put droplets on the sheet. I start with dark shades. I take the brush and sprinkle paint from it with a tap on the other brush. A few multicolored puddles of paint - and ready. And to make the picture complete, I need to add stars. After all, this is a cosmic whale.

There are whales who earn money by writing posts, but there are whales and curators. And I want to become a whale someday. And the closer this future comes - the better)))
