ColorChallenge. Thursday green. Grapes. Watercolor.

I really like fruits, especially grapes. I buy it very rarely, I do not know why))) But today I decided to pamper myself a little ... and at the same time to draw from nature.

I paint with the watercolor "Nevskaya Palitra": ocher, cadmium lemon, cadmium yellow medium, ultramarine, olive, green. I use cotton paper Saunders Waterford, 100% cotton.

I start with a pencil sketch and turn to watercolors. I draw separately each grapes, I try to convey light and shadow. I gradually darken the work, I add yellow and blue to show the heat / cold of the still life. I used to paint grape only with markers, but I liked to paint with watercolor. I must repeat it. Because I see all the shortcomings in the work, but watercolor does not forgive mistakes. Can not fix it, just redraw)))

For small corrections I use watercolor pencils. I also take them to deepen the shadows.
