How we went to the production of sketchbooks

in #art6 years ago

In the middle of January my husband, my friends and I went to Vilnus, Lithuania. I was invited to the factory of art albums SMLT Аrt.

We looked at the entire cycle of sketchbooks creation: from the arrival of sheets of paper - and until the release of the finished sketchbook! Watch the video:

  1. Rolls of paper are cut into sheets;
  • Sheets are leveled and cut to the desired format;
  • Offset printing of covers;
  • Sketchbook with clips;
  • Sketcbook on a spring;

  • A person works on each machine, everyone knows their work and is extremely concentrated)) A piece of handmade and love for their work is embedded in each sketchbook.

    The miracles did not end there - we were given to test the new square Bristol 20x20 with a paper of 308 g in a new * spoiler * stone cover!!!

    I am delighted! Wait, there will be details soon, as I now have one copy of this miracle.

    Want details on the paper and usability of a sketchbook? Want a review?

    Thank you for watching!

    It is really nice to see how the things that we love using are made. Gives us more connection every time we use it. By the way I had to look twice at the spoon sketch, I thought there were actually two spoons side by side. Cool sketch of the spoon.

    Thank you))) It is very unexpected to draw on the tour ... and use the markers that were with me))

    I must say, I don't believe I have seen a finer sketch of a spoon.
    It's pretty cool to see how things are made.

    Thank you))) But there was not enough time to finish the sketch))))

    Aw thats too bad because if this isn't the finished piece, imagine how perfect it would be finished! I already thought it was finished lol.
