Comic Con 2017
Last weekend was an animated one for Bucharest inhabitants and tourists. Besides the Auto-Moto Show, East European Comic Con(EECC) took place from May 5-7, 2017.
The goal of the event is to bring together those people who like Comic books, movies, TV series, Sci-Fi and fantasy, Japanese culture, anime, manga, board games, trading card games and technology. This is the most important event of this kind in Eastern Europe.
The first edition was held in 2013 and included various activities and contests. More than 9,000 people went to the first edition.
The 2017 edition took place at Romexpo, Bucharest.
This year’s special guests were Nathaniel Buzolic (The Vampire Diaries, The Originals), Tom Wlaschiha (Game of Thrones), Ellie Kendrick (Game of Thrones, Misfits), Christopher Judge (Stargate SG-1, God of War), Jefferson Hall (Vikings) and Craig Parker (Spartacus, Lord of the Rings).
