Pinky purple promise

It's been pretty chilly lately, with lots of rain and breeze and the ☀ doesn't seem like it is interested in making its appearance anytime soon.

Winter like season is ending at this part of the region and the year is welcoming the start of a new spring, slowly but surely. Times like these beg for moments of silence and peace and I believe many are just beginning to craft their year ahead with much anticipation.

Whatever stage of life you're at, may this new season be welcoming and full of life. The Good Book says God's mercies are new every morning and His promises are true. He is a good and faithful Father.

Just today, I've experienced my own form of assurance. It's been a long hectic season for me, juggling work from home while making sure I keep a little 2 year old alive, not forgetting a little one who is still growing hands and feet inside of me 😂 Yea, 36 weeks pregnant and hustling. Swollen limbs, numbing joints, bloating and reflux, stretching muscles. I have an event coming up next week and if that's not enough to cause a stretch, a speaker called in and informed that she isn't able to make it to the event anymore. 😱😱😱

Despite the whirlwind of events surrounding me, the Big Guy upstairs never ceases to send in beautiful reminders in the form of loved ones, encouraging words and comforting food. He even gives comfort through good weather. Just like this one.

Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

I went for my biweekly checkup today to find my baby is growing healthily. Came back home, had a quick lunch and continued work, and managed to close a speaker who is willing to take up the empty slot on a short notice. Drank my favorite milk tea, hugged my husband and little girl and enjoyed a short restful time of reading some beautiful Steemian posts.

Can you feel the peace that comes with it? It's like a beautiful warm embrace sent from above by the Faithful One, a reminder that sounds like this, "Everything is going to be alright, pinky purple promise." 💗💜
