Death at comic con

DEATH AT COMIC CON.

Death moved through the crowd of people, this was what he was created for. Very soon someone here was going to die, it wouldn’t be a violent death, just an unexpected passing. This crowd seemed slightly different to the usual gatherings of humans but Death wasn't paying attention so hadn’t quite worked out why.

Finally the odd feeling caused by the crowd made Death pause and looked around the large hall. Small stalls were everywhere selling goods and at the nearest stall stood three Stormtroopers inspecting small toy figures on the table. Death made his pause into a stop as he looked around inspecting the crowd of people. Death knew about superheroes and comic book characters as Famine had probably the largest comic collection on Earth. This had to be one of those strange human things, he'd have to look into it when he wasn't working as it looked fun.

Suddenly Death found himself surrounded by scantily clad young women in outfits he vaguely knew from Manga Comics.
“Amazing Death outfit, can we have a selfie?” One girl said and phones were held out to snap pictures.

A skull doesn’t show surprise but Death was so far past surprised he brow furrowed anyway. People could see him and more and more were coming over with cameras at the ready, photographers were pointing cameras at him and shouting instructions for him to pose. Without thinking Death obliged them and as more people came over he began to relax so the picture stood between Captain Jack Sparrow and the Joker with a Warhammer Space Marine behind them seemed normal.

These people could see him and they all wanted their picture taken with him, everyone was dressed as someone else, except for Death, who was now having the time of his life. He’d even had his bum felt by a very well-endowed female Jedi Knight who then gave him a wide smile. Across the hall someone who was supposed to die was saved by a collection of superheroes, villains and the great and small of Comic-con.
