I'm Alexa. If you're thinking "Amazon"..it was my name first ;)

This is my first post on Steemit. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been exploring this platform and loving what I've seen so far! Thanks to a local vegan friend @fruitdaddy posting on FB recently about Steemit, I was hooked and quickly knew I had to join!

Over the past five years or so, I've been on quite the journey of mind, body and soul connection. I've discovered passions I've never before had and am excited to share them with whoever is interested in exploring with me.

I am a freelance photographer. I love photographing nature, beautiful landscapes and capturing stories. I look forward to sharing my images alongside my blogs and hopefully collaborating with some of the amazing talents on this platform. I've recently started exploring with video as well!

I am a meditator. Every Monday night, my husband and I facilitate a meditation group at a Unitarian Universalist Congregation. I'd love to share some of the tools and teachings that I've been learning over the past five years.

I am a Vegan. I work at a very popular Vegan restaurant in Tacoma, WA. I am thankful to have some of my artwork up at the restaurant. Over the past week, I've actually been eating a raw vegan diet to help heal my body and will be sharing some of my raw journey here.
