A Visit to the Church of San Floriano in Valdobbiadene and the Hills of Prosecco - Discovering Italy with alequandro

Good evening everyone!
A few days ago I visited Pianezze a small town in the mountains of the province of Treviso.
That day while driving the car to go home I came across a church in a panoramic position, so I decided to stop and look better.

Qualche giorno fa ho visitato Pianezze una piccola località fra le montagne della provincia di Treviso.
Quel giorno mentre guidavo la macchina per tornare a casa ho incrociato una chiesa posta in una posizione panoramica, così ho deciso di fermarmi a guardare meglio.

The church was difficult to photograph because it had little space around it.

On one side it borders on a cliff, on the other side there is the road. The other sides overlook the parking lot and a garden of a house.

A really strange position!

La chiesa era difficile da fotografare perchè attorno aveva poco spazio.

Da un lato confina con uno strapiombo, dall'altro lato c'è la strada. Gli altri lati si affacciano sul parcheggio e un giardino di una casa.

Una posizione davvero strana!

I entered the church called the Church of San Floriano.
It was built in 1424.
In 1724 it was completely destroyed and rebuilt and a bell tower was added.
After the war bombings of 1917-1918 it was rebuilt and enlarged.
A chapel was also built after the Second World War.

Sono entrato nella chiesa che si chiama Chiesa di San Floriano.
Fu realizzata nel 1424.
Nel 1724 fu completamente distrutta e ricostruita e venne aggiunto un campanile.
Dopo i bombardamenti bellici del 1917 -1918 venne ricostruita ed ampliata.
Dopo la seconda guerra mondiale fu costruita anche una cappella.

The single-nave interior is simple but balanced.

L'interno a una navata è semplice ma equilibrato.

From the windows of the chapel enter the natural light that illuminates the high altar.

Dalla finestre della cappella entrala la luce naturale che illumina l'altare maggiore.

While sticking to the stone wall I tried to photograph it from another position

Stando aderente alla muro di sassi ho cercato di fotografarla da un' altra posizione

I left the most beautiful part for last: the panoramic view!

Ho lasciato per ultima la parte più bella: la vista panoramica!

From that position, as opposed to the first photos of the post that dominated Valdobbiadene, you can see some houses and the countryside cultivated with vines.

Da quella posizione, opposta alle prime foto del post che dominavano Valdobbiadene, si possono vedere alcune abitazioni e le campagne coltivate a vite.

As I told you in the previous post, in these places wine is produced to make the famous valdobbiadene prosecco.

Most of the economy of these places revolves around the wine business...

Come vi ho raccontato nel precedente post, in questi luoghi si produce il vino per fare il famoso prosecco di valdobbiadene.

La maggior parte dell'economia di questi luoghi gira intorno al business del vino...

While I was taking the last photo, with the intention of returning to the car suddenly, the sound of a bird of prey attracts my attention...

Mentre scattavo l'ultima foto, con l'intenzione di tornare alla macchina improvvisamente il verso di un rapace attira la mia attenzione...

Unfortunately I didn't have a telephoto lens with me!
It was really big, I'm not sure it was an eagle ... maybe there is some expert among you who recognizes that bird is...
