Steem DIP proposals and suggestions.

I'm very exited to see new proposals coming for STEEM and the development area moving more. STEEM has stucked for several time now being the TRX integration the last biggest feature added the we got, as I remember, after it there has not be something significant that make a difference on the platform, only a text editor that was a failure cause it didn't worked as expected so this was removed about 2 days ago after the integration.

I really love to see Steemit Inc working together witnesses and I'm sure this will be a extremelly beneficial thing for all the ecosystem. But that is not a easier job cause work in the Steemit/condenser could be a advanced task so my respect for the ones who are going to do that.

With this post, I want to share with you a few ideas that can work as inspiration for the new coming teams, this suggestions will be based on my experience as a content creator, and as a Steem DAPP Developer.

For this feature I will talk about the more information in the voting system because more newbie users really don't know what they are doing when voting and this will surely make Steemit more compat and a very complete application, in the screenshot you can see how we can get our current voting power in our profile but that's not everything, the idea is to have it more detailed when voting too.

When you are going to vote would be fine if you get more specific information such your VP as well and the estimated value that you will add to that post. That information can be calculated with some formulas, but if this could be included automatically via API request that will build a very complete API.

This system should be easily added to downvotes too, we could see how much we are going to reduce and the final value that our downvote will leave in the target post, this way we will have a better optimization of our voting power and will make it more clear and intuitive.

We can burn SBD and promote our articles which will be listed at https://steemit.com/promoted but this is currently in missuse even when we tried to encourage people to use it a few weeks ago. The main goal of this section is add useful articles and reach more people but there is a mistake cause there is not an important value in this formula, the people, how do you make people go to promoted since they don't have the resposibility to do this?

Well, if people don't go to promoted, promoted should go to people. How is that? well, the platform should look at this automatically and add at least 2 or 3 promoted post directly in communities that is where people go more, the more burned posts the posts which will be promoted.

This way, the promoted posts will receive a lot of views with no doubts and more organical burning tokens system we will see.

For this we should promote this feature via wallet and make it simple for everyone, something like this:

With this people will get a formulary to burn sbd and start a promotion. User will have to set a post link, and the amount of the bid so they will can do it easilly.

We really need an expiration system for delegations, proposals, and witness votes.

Inactive witnesses still are ranked in higher position that could be approached for new witnesses, many of inactive witnesses have votes from inactive users, so that is not good so far.

As in countries happens with political things, witnesses, proposals and delegations should have a political renewal system to keep always the more active people and projects in the TOP. This could also include account witness proxy, but I think that adding an expiration time of at least 1 year for the first three things we could have a more consolidate ecosystem with always up to date things.

My suggestions are so simple I think, but this could change Steem for better. I'm always talking from the two parts, as a developer and as a common user that understand what's going on with the content creation proccess.
