El avance tecnológico había sido tal, que ya los lugares inhóspitos, inexplorables y hostiles, se habían convertido en posibles lugares de recreación, protección e incluso con bastante potencial para la vida. Al final todo se redujo a encontrar la forma correcta de controlar la energía, su poder y la distribución que pudiera tener a lo largo del espacio, teniendo en cuenta esto, y sabiendo las limitaciones del cuerpo humano, se podían lograr cosas inimaginables para los ancestros de siglos anteriores. Los limites habían sido cruzado, pero con esto, se habían descubierto nuevos, muchos mas rígidos y de carácter desconocido. Como siempre, había algo más allá.
La exploración espacial era un tema cotidiano para esta época, la humanidad avanzaba a pasos agigantados en cuanto a la caracterización de los planetas que la rodeaban, su composición química, temperatura, humedad, terreno entre otros factores, eran totalmente determinante para las decisiones con respecto a si eran o no aptas para la vida, al menos para la vida humana. Los equipos creados, se basaban en tecnología cuántica para mejorar la exactitud y precisión de sus medidas, eran pequeños artefactos bastante sutiles que llegaban a consumir una gran cantidad de energía por segundo, tanto que era necesario alimentarlos con el poder nuclear, en su mayoría.
Un grupo de científicos había encontrado ciertas pistas de vida en algunos de los planetas del sistema solar, sin embargo, incluso para esa época, el ser humano aun se encontraba en la soledad absoluta, no había nada más que pudiera hacerle competencia en cuanto a evolución se refiere. Era escalofriante pensar que todo el universo, solo había podido engendrar una forma de vida como la de la tierra, y en toda su extensión, no era más que materia inerte, que colisiona constantemente, y se rige por las leyes físicas para su movimiento, carente de conciencia, de aspiraciones, de vida.
Un descubrimiento reciente en las profundidades de la superficie de Marte, demostró que en efecto había rastros de inteligencia, la hipótesis oficial contemplaba el hecho de que había existido una civilización mucho más vieja que la humana, pero que por motivos aún desconocidos, se habían extinguido antes de que el ser humano pudiera tomar conciencia. La extinción de esta especie era clave para entender el famoso filtro del universo, que teóricamente, cada cierto tiempo se expresa, para dejar para ciertas especies, pero también para descartar o eliminar otras que no eran aptas para seguir en unas condiciones dadas.
Según los rastros encontrados, esta antigua civilización vecina, tenía un nivel de desarrollo bastante alto, no se sabe con exactitud si eran más desarrollados de lo que es el humano actualmente en el año 5720, pero pudieran haber sido bastante similares. Entre uno de esos viejos objetos, ya destruidos y deteriorados por el paso de los siglos y por el implacable efecto de la naturaleza, se encontraron un grupo bastante diverso de equipos electrónicos, los cuales utilizaban en su mayoría hilos ultra finos de oro, y transistores de alta calidad; también poseían receptores de radiación de amplio rango y una potencia asociada, aunque menos a la actual de los equipos humanos, eran lo suficientemente comparable con éstos.
Fue realmente muy difícil encontrarlos, ya que estaban en baúl metálico bastante denso y escondido en las profundidades de la tierra roja. A simple vista, este baúl daba la impresión de contener algo valioso, algo que dicha civilización quería inmortalizar y quizá transmitir a otras posibles civilizaciones, se pudiera pensar que ellos mismos sabían que su final llegaría, y prepararon este baúl para salvar aquello mas apreciaban, aquello que incluso luego de su extinción, podía probar y representar su paso efímero por este violento y silencioso universo, frio y oscuro.
Encender las maquinas no tomo mas allá de unas cuantas semanas, para este entonces la ingeniería en reversa estaba lo suficientemente desarrollada como para entender el funcionamiento detalladamente de cualquier artefacto desconocido que se encontrara en un nivel inferior de tecnología. Para esto, le adaptaron fuentes de energía modernas, ya que no se disponían de las baterías originales creadas por estos seres. Al encender la pantalla se pudo observar un largo y específico directorio de archivos, minuciosamente clasificado, con títulos bastante largos y con una breve descripción a su lado.
El problema con todo esto, era el idioma en el que estaba escrito. Los caracteres eran bastante peculiares, estaban compuestos por forma geométricas, en su mayoría con lados rectos, y otros circulares, la combinación de ellas, daban lugar a letras con formas poligonales, con líneas gruesas y finas que parecían denotar algún sentido abstracto de lo que estaban comunicando. Un gran número de expertos observaron este alfabeto, y llegaron a la conclusión de que se trataba de un idioma complejo, el cual estructuraba sus tiempos verbales en cada palabra que perteneciera a él. Con unos cuantos meses de análisis criptográfico y con la ayuda de la bastante desarrollada inteligencia artificial, se procedió a descifrar lo que estos archivos decían.
En aproximadamente 1 semana, la tecnología de inteligencia artificial, logro encontrar un patrón en este idioma, la certeza sobre el mismo eran mayor al 80% por lo que se podía pensar que estaban cerca de descubrir la sintaxis del mismo. Poco a poco se fue revelando la conexión entre las palabras, su función dentro de las oraciones, y el sentido como un todo que le daban mediante sus signos de abstractos. Lo difícil no fue lograr encontrar una función matemática que lograra traduce el idioma al nuestro, en realidad fue fácil, la inteligencia artificial de encargo de todo. Lo difícil fue leer cada uno de aquellos archivos e interpretar lo que realmente quería trasmitir estos seres antes de desaparecer. Entre mucho conocimiento valioso, solo un archivo destacaba del resto, su nombre era “extinción” y lo único que contenía era un mapa, la respuesta esencial según ellos, estaba en el sol, al interpretarlo los lingüistas se dieron cuenta que hablaban de forma literal, y que dicha información había sido escondida dentro del sol. Era la forma más sutil de hacerle llegar las respuestas a una civilización realmente capaz, a una civilización merecedora de tenerla.

Space exploration was a daily topic for this time, humanity was advancing by leaps and bounds in terms of the characterization of the planets that surrounded it, its chemical composition, temperature, humidity, terrain among other factors, were totally determinant for decisions regarding whether or not they were suitable for life, at least for human life. The equipment created, based on quantum technology to improve the accuracy and precision of their measurements, were small artifacts quite subtle that came to consume a large amount of energy per second, so much so that it was necessary to feed them with nuclear power, for the most part.
A group of scientists had found certain life clues in some of the planets of the solar system, however, even at that time, the human being was still in absolute solitude, there was nothing else that could compete with him as far as evolution is concerned. It was really very difficult to find them, since they were in metallic trunk quite dense and hidden in the depths of the red earth. At first sight, this trunk gave the impression of containing something valuable, something that this civilization wanted to immortalize and perhaps transmit to other possible civilizations, it could be thought that they themselves knew that its end would come, and they prepared this trunk to save that which they most appreciated, that which even after its extinction, could prove and represent their ephemeral passage through this violent and silent universe, cold and dark.
Turning on the machines didn't take more than a few weeks, by this time reverse engineering was sufficiently developed to understand the detailed operation of any unknown artifact found at a lower level of technology. For this, they adapted modern energy sources, since the original batteries created by these beings were not available. With a few months of cryptographic analysis and the help of quite developed artificial intelligence, we proceeded to decipher what these files said.
In approximately 1 week, the technology of artificial intelligence, I manage to find a pattern in this language, the certainty on the same one were greater to 80% reason why one could think that they were near to discover the syntax of the same one. Little by little, the connection between words, their function within sentences, and the meaning as a whole given to them through their abstract signs was revealed. The difficult thing was not to find a mathematical function that could translate the language into ours, in reality it was easy, the artificial intelligence to order everything. The difficult thing was to read each one of those files and to interpret what really wanted to transmit these beings before disappearing. Among a lot of valuable knowledge, only one file stood out from the rest, its name was "extinction" and the only thing it contained was a map, the essential answer according to them was in the sun, when interpreting it the linguists realized that they spoke literally, and that this information had been hidden inside the sun. It was the most subtle way of getting the answers to a civilization really capable, a civilization worthy of having it.
