30 Minutes of Walking Everyday Makes Me Lose Weight - Using Samsung Health App to Monitor my Walking

Here’s what I found out about walking. When I was living in a room that is only about 10 meters away from my workplace I did gain some wait. Maybe because I am not active and I rarely sweat and I do eat during office break-time at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

But now that I am living at a place that is far away from my workplace I am forced to walk going to office and back home.

Walking from where I live to office takes about 15-20 minutes of walking (minimum) and another 15-20 minutes of walking when going back home. I would sweat on my sando once I got home and when I arrive on my workplace.

Walking makes me frequently hungry. But I found out that what I eat is easily mitigated when I walk going to office and back home.

It’s been two years now since I started walking going to office then back home from Monday to Saturday. It kept me from gaining weight but it is also keeping me from losing too much weight because when walking makes me hungry I do eat.

My weight now is hovering from 48 kilos - 51 kilos (107 lbs – 112 lbs) since I started walking.

Here’s the data on my walking according to Samsung Health app in my phone.

This first screenshot indicated the I walked for about 16 minutes.

The next day I walked again for 12 minutes and I burned 43 kcal.

Another 10 minutes of walk going home and I burned 33 kcal.

The app is fun to use. It detected that I managed a 6000 steps since it began to track my walking regimen beginning in January 24, 2018.

Another 16 minutes of walking on January 31, 2018. I burned 51 kcal.

Here's my latest achievement today February 01, 2018. I walked for 16 minutes and burned 50 kcal.

Walking is the most accessible and interesting sport. During walking you can see many interesting things, observe people, birds, cars. And for health it is useful. Just do not have to walk along busy roads, breathing exhaust fumes is not useful.

Correct, vehicle fumes are not useful. That's why my my nose and mouth are covered while walking.
