Economic Activity - Diary Game (04-06-2024): Purchasing Tiles at Timber Market

Greetings Entrepreneurs!

It's a pleasure to return here again with my economic activities. This economic diary is for 4th June, 2024. I will share how my day went on this day with pictures;
I woke up early as an early bird as usual to my regular morning routine by cleaning the house, preparing breakfast for my family and focusing on my personal tasks.

At 11:00am, I got dressed to go to timber market. All household building materials are sold in timber market, Uyo, Nigeria. I got to the market, spotted a tile shop from a distance and decided to stop by to check their designs.

I carefully selected the designs I liked for various places in the house. Here is the table of items and it quantities;

I selected various sizes, the bedroom floor size was the largest which is 60 by 60 in size. After putting down the prices, the seller did a discount of #900 ( 2.6 Steem) for me although it was too small compared to large materials I'm purchase.

Anyways, I did not argue much about the price because things are way too expensive now. I made payment of #422,000 (1,206 steem) before the seller issued out a receipt for my purchase.

Immediately, I left the tiles shop to look for vehicle that will transport the materials to my destination. I found a car, we negotiated on the price which the driver billed me #30,000 (86 steem) to transport the tiles. I entered the car and he drove down to the shop and I was asked to pay the person that will load the vehicle.

I paid #2,000 (6 steem) to one man at the market who came to load the vehicle. He carefully packed the tiles and arranged them in the vehicle while I was taking record of the numbers. When he was done loading the two vehicles, he left.

I finished my records and went home at 5:35pm. I got home safely and my entire body was aching especially the back. My work ended immediately I got home and that was how my economic activities ended on 04-06-2024. Thank you!
